Click! There, engraved in flash memory, thousands of pixels of light. In other words a moment in my life.
This year I turned 18. Pretty cool if you ask me. That means I am over 567,600,000 seconds, OR; 9,461,000 minutes, OR; 157,680 hours, OR; 6570 days old. Relatively young, but somehow in the past six thousand days I have managed to forget some of the favorite moments in my life.
I remember lots though. Like the time my family went canoeing down the Green River in Utah and I got beat up trying to wrestle my (much bigger) uncles. Or the time my dad and I dropped 100 pounds of peanuts (along with two or three special ones) over a field surrounded by eager Pathfinders, out of a Cessna 172. But many of the every day laughs, and moments of appreciation go on, unremembered.
Often times these memories are brought back when I randomly brows through my many, disorganized pictures. There seems to be a power in pictures that stimulates a recollecting mind. And that's where adventures are made.

"Adventures are made in the recollecting mind."
- Nathan James, Dean at Fountainview Academy
So, I propose to record a memory every day. Then I can look back and have many adventures, and you are invited to come along! So welcome aboard the lens of my camera and enjoy my Shutter Click Moments :)
