Fun on the River at Sunset

I picked up Chad at the airport yesterday, and after a good supper of popcorn and watermelon we hooked up the boat and went out on the river while the sun went down. We went to some springs and went swimming and in general had a grand ole time. And guess what was in the parking lot while I waited for Chad's delayed flight to unload?

Florida Sunrise

Drove up to the pan handle this week to meet some family. Took all night to drive back. Right as we were getting home the sun peeked over the trees.

Florida Champion Tree - Live Oak

On a scenic drive yesterday I stumbled across a neat little park. Just a small little picknick area with some room to play catch and enjoy the sunshine. In the back of the park was a mammoth Live Oak tree. These trees are nice to have around for their shade and their aesthetic looks. But this tree was the biggest I have ever seen, and as a sign pointed out, Its the biggest one in the state!

Brain Bucket

I'm getting my motorcycle license next week, so yesterday I stopped at a thrift shop to see if they had any helmets. Came up with a pretty nice looking one with a broken visor. Ordered the parts making it an inexpensive helmet.

Retail - $100 +

Price - $0(Its nice to have friends at thrift stores)

Parts - Ratchet mechanism + new visor - $30

The Drive Home

Well I am finally home after driving from Canada to Florida with my dad. We took three weeks to enjoy the trip. We spent most of that time with family on the west coast.
